Doentes Vegetarianos

Some colloids contain bovine gelatine. Should we ask patients if they are vegetarian?

Citando:

Certainly the idea that drug companies could consider labelling their products as suitable or unsuitable for vegetarians is constructive in driving the issue forwards.

Vegetarian’ as defined in the Oxford Dictionary is someone who does not eat meat [2]. Vegans would also exclude seafood, honey, and the wearing and use of animal products (leather, silk, wool, and gelatin). ‘Strict vegetarian’ in general refers to ‘vegan’. Most Hindus are not vegans as they consume cow’s milk and use leather products in their daily life.

Curioso, eu nunca me tinha lembrado de tal questão.
Para reflectir no fim de semana prolongado.
